Enjoying ICT Lessons looking at online safety, Collecting and classifying leaves in Science, Making shapes in Gymnastics and learning how to use long multiplication in Maths.

Willow Class have been enjoying their ICT sessions. They are doing an online safety unit at the moment, and have looked at the meaning of a ‘digital footprint’ - how people use their online presence to create a virtual image of themselves. The children had to look at different online profiles of potential candidates for a role, and decide whether the applicant was suitable or not based on their digital footprint. In science the class collected a variety of leaves from the school environment and made classification keys. They had to think carefully about which questions to use to separate one leaf from another! Gymnastics has been fun in PE. In maths the children have been learning how to use long multiplication. Many were keen to come up the front and demonstrate their understanding to the class.
