Fantastic practical sessions in Science, moving to the beat in Music, learning about retro-futuristic artwork in Art and recapping our knowledge on forces in Science.

Chestnut Class have had fantastic practical sessions in science. They dissected flowers and wrote an explanation about how some plants reproduce. In music we improvised to Living on a prayer, also moving in time to the beat. We’ve been learning about retro-futuristic artwork this term and the children enjoyed having a go at their favourite piece that we’d studied. In Science, we were recapping our knowledge of forces. The children worked at five different stations and discussed what they thought they could see happening at each one. Lots of them remembered good scientific vocabulary like repel, friction and gravity.
