Sycamore class have had a great start to Year 5. The children have enjoyed their first gymnastics lesson. They worked with partners to show a variety of balances on the floor with good body tension. The children began to explore matching, mirroring and contrasting balances. In history the children have learnt about the Roman legend of Romulus and Remus, how Romulus became king, and the rise of Rome becoming powerful. In Maths Sycamore Class used the counters on a place value grid to make four-digit numbers.
