Our history learning this term is about ‘Persia and Greece’. We have been introduced to King Cyrus and his son King Darius. We have learned that both kings were successful in creating the biggest empire that the world had ever seen.
In English we explored the difference between ‘phrases’ and ‘clauses’. We identified that both sentence parts help to move stories forward and allow the reader to make connections between events. We have continued to enjoy listening to and reading stories from the Myth Atlas.

Cherry class completed their final still life art piece. The children were able to think about ‘tints’ and ‘shades’ to show areas of light and dark. The children’s creativity is fantastic.
