In Design Technology, Silver Birch Class started to look and discuss the digital technology. The children sorted photographs and talked about how technology has changed rapidly since the 1980’s.

In English, they have been using an online dictionary to find the definitions of a few scientific words e.g. bimetallic strip, electromagnet, inlet and outlet.

Super science learning in Silver Birch - they learned about the process of pollination in a plant's life cycle and why the pollinators like bees, hummingbirds and the wind are so important in taking the pollen from one plant to another to make new seeds. They made a comic strip to show this process.
