A Year 5/6 football team took part in the Bettison Cup yesterday at Saltmill in Saltash. After qualifying successfully from the group stage, they played Glen Park in the quarter-final in a very competitive match, which we won 1-0 thanks to a stunning goal from Alfie! We then beat Mary Deans 2-1 in the semi-final to reach the final, where we came up against a strong Bickleigh team. It was a tight game which Bickleigh won 1-0 unfortunately thanks to late goal. It was a great effort from the team to reach the final though - well done Woodford!
