We've enjoyed blending sounds together we said the sounds “Pop!” We've been creating our own knee protectors and super hero symbols. Our writing challenge was to use the sounds we know how to write and to write the words mad, sad and pin. Together we sounded out the words and repeated them a few times This term for Art we have been developing our drawing skills and this last fortnight we have drawn and painted our own self portraits. Over the next two weeks we will be learning about Diwali. Today the children were excited to discover brightly coloured chalk drawings on the floor in both of our outdoor areas.
