On Tuesday it was Safer Internet day. The theme this year was "Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI". On Monday, the Digital Leaders delivered an assembly explaining how AI can be used in a range of different ways and encouraging children to think about whether different scenarios were good, kind and safe uses of AI or not. In the last few weeks, the Digital Leaders have been practising for this assembly, sharing their concerns linked to online safety and helping to create lesson starters for each class to help them discuss and consider these areas of concern. This has been a great opportunity for everyone to ensure we know how to seek help when we need it and to consider the choices we can all make to ensure we are safe and respectful with our use of technology.
