Beech class have been using their classification skills to create their own branching keys in science. They really showed off their understanding of different classes and did a great job. Beech class have been creating fairytales and making a great effort for their first English unit of the year! Their next unit is a non-fiction text called ‘Our Planet’. Beech have been learning about the building of Baghdad in 762 CE and the children have written about how it was built and how strict al-Mansur was with the workers. As you can see from the illustrations, it was a perfect circle, with brick walls that were 24m tall.
