Welcome back Chestnut Class
In Science Chestnut Class investigated how the size of a canopy affects the time it takes a parachute to fall. We used our knowledge of air resistance to predict the results before conducting our experiments in groups. There was great valued collaboration on show to help improve the accuracy and precision of our results!
Chestnut Class really enjoyed their tennis sessions. The children started off by continuing to work on their ball control skills independently before moving onto rally exercises with their partners. It was great to see how much improvement there was from the beginning of the lesson to the end!
After watching the ‘Paraphernalia’ video in English, Chestnut Class used their knowledge of subordinating conjunctions, main clauses and subordinate clauses to create their own sentences about the events that happened.
