Check out the creative talent in Apple class. They are exploring ideas and developing new drawing techniques in their sketchbooks. The art unit this term is Still Life and we have been identifying common shapes in still life objects to help us draw them realistically.

In Apple's ancient Egypt lesson, they learnt that Upper and Lower Egypt united and was ruled by the pharaoh, who wore a double crown.

We have a real focus on reading fluency this year. Apple Class used partner practise, where we re- read to develop our reading speed. We also clarified the meaning of some new words.
