In Art, we used our knowledge of line types and patterns to create a shared piece of art in response to music. We looked at the artist Paul Klee who loved to create art after playing his violin. We listened to Debussy’s La Mer and began to make marks in response which reflected the sea. Just like the song which translates as ‘the sea’.

In Computing, we looked at the importance of keeping passwords a secret. We thought about them like the key to our house. We wouldn’t give the key to strangers so we shouldn’t give our password to strangers. We practised logging in to Purple Mash and created our own avatar for the site. We then learnt the importance of logging out.

Holly Class have enjoyed lots of learning through play. The children were loving the sunshine on the decking too.
