In Geography Cherry Class explored the city of Rotterdam which is at the mouth of the River Rhine on the North Sea. The children learned that the city is a port which receives 65,000 container ships and barges every year. learned that the city of Cologne and Rotterdam are both on the River Rhine but there are lots of differences between the two cities.

In RE, the children have been learning about ‘the anointed one’ and how the Jews believed that the anointed one (the Messiah) was going to come and free them. They showed some excellent retrieval from their year 3 learning.

Cherry have had fantastic gymnastics sessions in PE. They used their body to balance in different positions and create a synchronised sequence with our partner.
