Silver Birch have been investigating what the best rock to make a statue would be.  We did two comparative tests to identify the most durable rocks by doing a scratch test, we also did an experiment to compare rocks that were absorbent or waterproof. We then wrote a team conclusion to summarise all our learning

We have been working scientifically to identify and classify different types of rocks. We have explored how sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks are formed too!

Silver Birch have enjoyed great PE sessions focusing on perfecting the skills of dribbling and passing in basketball.
