Parliament visit London

A group of our School Council members along with some of our Year 6 Leaders have visited the Houses of Parliament in London this week. The children have found the experience so interesting visiting the House of Commons. They moved into the House of Lords where they watched a discussion on the cost of school uniform. All the children were impressed by the grandeur of the building! We’ve just finished a meeting with the MP for South West Devon, Rebecca Smith, and our children pressed her on improvements they’d like to see in our local area. She was particularly impressed with Freya’s and Reo’s suggestions about spaces for young people in Plympton and she’s asked them to write to her when we get back so that she can follow it up. A fantastic experience for our children.
