Vision and Values

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin teaching and learning and provide an environment which prepares our children to be self-motivated and self-disciplined individuals, with a love of learning.

Our School Aims :

  • To provide a well-ordered, safe and happy environment in which children are able to realise their full potential, academically, physically, emotionally, spiritually and morally.

  • To recognise and value the successes and achievements of every child and encourage celebration of the achievements of others.

  • To promote high standards of behaviour, to develop a sense of self-respect, independence, self-esteem and confidence and the ability to live and work co-operatively with others.

  • To respect the ethnic, cultural, religious, spiritual and moral values of others and to encourage children to reflect on their own attitudes, values and beliefs.

  • To enable the acquisition of the necessary academic and social skills, knowledge and understanding, as preparation for future life in a rapidly changing world.

  • Through a broad range of opportunities and experiences, develop lively enquiring minds and foster a genuine love of learning.

  • To encourage children’s creativity through a range of experiences across a broad and balanced curriculum.

  • To engender in children respect for themselves and others and teach them to value their environment.

  • To encourage parental involvement and enable support for their child’s learning through communication about progress, policies and practices of the school

  • To be a community where children, parents and staff feel valued members of the team and work in partnership to achieve the school aims.

We provide education for all children through appropriate differentiation, resources and facilities (if possible). Every child’s needs are considered and teaching and learning is planned to accommodate and value their diversity.
