Chestnut have showed what super runners they are, with lots of children already beating the PB they set at the start of the year. We have been running on the field or playground each morning, using a range of different training techniques including interval training, relay running and mile-long endurance runs. The Daily Mile improves the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of young people. Some children have gone on to represent the school at cross country events, with some amazing positions considering they are now racing in the Year 5/6 event! Keep up the hard work, Chestnut!
