Woodford Primary School is on a large site which it shares with Willow Childcare Centre, Plum Tree Children's Centre and Plews Scout Centre.
The school building houses two large halls, offices, a staff room and an enlarged and refurbished Foundation Stage unit. This unit has two purpose built outside and enclosed fenced play areas. There are two ICT suites, two libraries and resources/shared learning areas, in addition to the classrooms. Also on site there is a school kitchen which prepares meals daily for the children. The school has four playgrounds, an amphitheatre, activity trails, a woodland area and a field for Physical Education and outdoor learning.
The school site is being continually improved, in particular to ensure that it meets the requirements of accessibility. There are hearing loops in the school halls and lifts/ramps to support wheelchair access across the split level site. High visibility strips are used where there are steps or changes in levels as an aid to the visually impaired.
