Child Assault Prevention Project is a community project that brings parents /carers, school staff and children together to understand how to effectively reduce children’s vulnerability to child abuse and build safer communities for children. CAP’s aim is to keep children Safe, Strong and Free.
Earlier this week, staff attended training with CAP UK who will be coming into school to run workshops with the children in KS1 and 2 in the weeks beginning 27th January and 3rd February.
To find out more about the project and the work they will be doing with your child, parents are invited to attend a parent workshop which is scheduled to take place at Woodford Primary School on 23rd January from 5-00-6.00pm. This is an adult workshop designed for you to ask questions about any aspect of the CAP programme and is therefore not suitable for children.
