Tuesday - PSHE

This week is Children's Mental Health Week and the theme is 'Express Yourself'. To celebrate this, we would like the children to watch the special assembly from Oak National Academy, which features Blue Peter’s Lindsey Russell and CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson alongside some other special well-known faces.

Use this link for the assembly.

Following the assembly, please complete the following activity booklet, where we will be reflecting and thinking about different things that can support our mental health, such as: appreciation of others, good deeds and kindness. This can be completed with pen and paper so it's not essential that you print the booklet.

If you would like further resources to support your child's mental health, please use this link. Here you will find top tips, activity ideas and various other support.

Wednesday - Computing

For today's computing lesson, we will be designing to code and creating our own games.

All of the tasks involved are mentioned in the lesson video. You will need to use the Scratch website, which can be found at the following link: https://scratch.mit.edu/

During the video, they ask you to go to the following link during task 1:

You do not need to sign up for an account unless children wish to save their work.

Thursday - Science

For today's Science lesson, we will be investigating how much we rely on electricity.

Please use the video link below to find the lesson on The Oak National Academy website. There is a short quiz to do first to recap previous learning.

Children will need to have the worksheet ready before they watch the video, as they'll need to pause it at certain times to complete the activity on the sheet.

After they have completed this, there is an End of unit Electricity knowledge check for them to complete.
