It has been a busy week of football cup finals for Woodford.

On Wednesday, our Year 5/6 boys’ team won the School’s knockout cup, beating Bickleigh Down 2-0 in a hard-fought final, played at Plympton Academy.

Meanwhile, our girls’ team, who had a great extra time win against Bickleigh last week in the semi-final, also played their final. Unfortunately, we came up against a strong Horrabridge team, who took the win. It was some effort for our girls to reach the final though and they enjoyed some great wins along the way.

A big well done to both teams for their achievements this season - you really did the school proud.
