This week is National Science Week and to celebrate it we had a visit from Solar Susan from Fizz Pop Science to talk to the children about "air". The children watched her demonstrate how air moves, all about gas molecules and used a smoke machine to make smoke rings. Some of the children got to come out to the front to assist her. She also gave out letters that invited children to take part in an after School science club where the children will get to see how science helps different professions like the police, engineers and astronauts.
"I really enjoyed the science assembly. My favourite part was when she tried to get a balloon in to a glass jar but it didn’t work. It showed us that science doesn’t always work" - Ellie Y2
